This is a full-time position with full benefits; including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid Vacation and Holidays. Position is on 3rd shift, Sunday night - Friday morning, 10:30pm - 6:30am Essential Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and/or fabricate machinery in timely, efficient, safe, and accurate manner while keeping impact on production as minimal as possible.
Expedite repairs for unscheduled maintenance jobs in most efficient and timely procedure.
Work from drawings, specifications, and job layouts provided by Supervisor or Plant Engineer.
Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system.
Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, or grinder, to make or repair parts.
Contribute to the general housekeeping, upkeep, and organization of the department and tooling
May be required to work with Maintenance Technicians and Industrial Electricians on jobs when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants should have a proven track record of being self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, organized, and good attendance
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school for Maintenance; or 2-3 yrse of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience working in a machine shop.
Knowledge of the lathe, mill, and welding
